![]() Philinterでの5週間の生活をつづった体験談をいただきました! Neil君は5週間、IELTSコースで学ばれ毎日本当に一生懸命勉強されてました。 先生からもすごく期待をされ、私も本当に関心をしてしまいました。 本日そんなNeil君より体験談をお送りしま~す ![]() ![]() Neil君です ![]() IELTs course in Philinter My life in Pilinter was very intensive and satisfaction in many ways, such as study, social life, and activities, as I am now looking back. I stayed there for 5weeks, that was not long stay, but every day I was busy learning English and enjoying myself. My course in the school was IELTs course, which was new one and established in March in 2011. I can strongly say that my choice to take its course was a right decision, so let me say how it was good and nice. To begin with, IELTs teachers’ skills to teach it were quite high because they were trained for IELTs teaching for 3 months by a native English teacher who was from England and had experiences of teaching it for more than 20 years before. On top of it, they took the test after training in fact, and their score were quite high, even though it was said to be one of the most difficult English test. They still take the test in Filinter about once a month to maintain their skill and improve it. That’s why they can be said to be specialists on teaching IELTs. A further point to say is that their passions were very high, so I used to feel that they were really hoping my improvement from the bottom of their heart when I was taking classes, which inspired me to study more. When it comes to classes, it focused on the test, and teachers gave me a variety of techniques of it. For example, as for IELTs speaking classes, 3 to 4 practice speaking test based on real IELTs were provided in a class and teacher taught me the way to start, end, and organize short speech, correcting pronunciations, removing fillow words, grammar lapses. Every day I got writing homework from Monday to Friday, and wrote a lot of types of topics and my teachers corrected my sentences, showed better sentences and useful templates, which dramatically pushed up my writing skill and thought of many type of issues as well. There were 4~5 one to one classes apart from group classes in my schedule, which were enough time to study it, provided much opportunities to speak English and could make it possible to ask teacher individual questions. Furthermore, I was given a whole IETLs practice tests 5times during my stay, 5 weeks, which were pretty much the same as a real test, so I was able to get used to the type of test. This course I took in Philinter was greater than I had expected and I am sure that I improved not only IELTs skills but also an English ability itself. Besides, I enjoyed many activities like diving, skywalk, edge courter, drinking with my friends… I am pleased to study and meet teachers, office persons, and friends, which were precious time to me. I really appreciate all of it. Thank you very much! フィリピン留学先駆者としての誇り!@ www.cebu21.jp |
