Whats the motivation to learn English? Let me introduce myself. Im 26 years old. Just call me Peter I graduated in college last February this year. I have a degree in Environmental Engineering. I have been studying English for at least 10 years. When I was in middle or high school,I used to study English for an exam. I always hit the books and try to memorize a lot of idioms and vocabularies. I always thought I can speak English very well because I always received a high score. But I was mistaken.  One day,I had a chance to go abroad. I stayed in Australia for around 2 months When I stayed in Australia,I was itching to test my English level. I met many foreigners but I couldn speak English. One day,I met a Japanese woman who was very charming and attractive. I wanted to build a good relationship with her. When I met her,I was always in 7th heaven. I tried to speak English when I met her but I couldn it. Thats why I decided to go back to Korea. When I went back to Korea,I decided on something. I needed to learn English very hard.  Now,Many people including myself spend their valuable time and money to learn English. Let me ask you a question? Whats your ultimate aim in learning English? Is it for an exam or meeting other foreign friends? Actually,Most people are stressful when they learn English. Thats because I think they don enjoy learning English. I mean, to learn ENglish isn a subject. Its a language. Don you agree? English isn my language so If you really want to speak English very well. First of all,Just hold your horses and try to enjoy English. In my case,I learn English through the internet or listening to music. Of course,I can speak English very well but I already realized the best way to approach studying Enlish easily. If you don mind,Ill try to talk about 3 methods. 1.Don be in a hurry 2.Don be nervous 3.Don give up on learning English.  To speak English very well or not depends on your attitude. By the way,when I learn English for myself,there are some problems which makes me confused. when I try to say something,Im not sure if its correct or not. I realized that there is a limit to learn English. If your English level isn low : you can understand what I mean. When I make my own sentences,I always goof up. Finally,I realized that a tutor is necessary for me. So,I decided to go to abroad one more time. Now,Im here in the Philippines. Im staying in a dorm and always try to speak English. I always write a diary and have it checked by a tutor. I don compel you to go to abroad because there are many methods for you to learn English. I think the best way to learn English depends on your awareness about your own method. Actually,I don like leanign grammar.because I always think it disturbs the flow of my free thoughts. but, sometimes you should learn grammar too. It will make your sentences more smooth. There are also good things and bad things.  When I gave up my major,I asked something to myself. What do I really want to do? My answer is clearly that to learn other languages thats why I enjoy learning English. Actually,Im sick and tired of learing English for an exam. If you prepare an exam,you just hit the books. You will be able to receive a high score. I can say it easily. because I already have a same experience. but In my case,its useless for me.
